Avi Cue: Experience Authentic Middle Eastern Shawarma in Los Angeles

This food is crazy good. I don't mean just yummy. I mean last meal on Earth good. I ordered very late the Arayes and the Wagyu platter because I'm 110 lbs and it's only me here but I will eat the whole thing! This food deserves a Michelin star. OMG!!!! Thanks everyone for making it a great night!

My boyfriend is from a Jewish family, he mentioned this shwarma is definitely the most authentic tasting he's ever tasted in a while! He said it tastes exactly like food from Israel. The workers are very courteous, and also very speedy in their work. They have very solid wraps, and awesome meat straight straight from the spinning Rotisserie! The seating arrangement js super spacious. The music is upbeat, and I absolutely appreciate the individual sauce bottles for every table. That is dedication to the customers right there.

That pita bread and hummus is wonderful. The hummus is lighter / less thick and the pita texture pairs very well. The sandwiches are huge! Although I wouldn't say I would know this is wagyu (if you didn't tell me what I was eating) it was still a delicious sandwich

DELICIOUS! Every. SINGLE. Time. Everyone is so nice there and so welcoming& always smiling. Its so clean inside and they give out free coffee and water which is so amazing to do. I love coming here. The shawarmas are delicious &they now have chicken shawarmas on their menu thats soo full of flavor and tender. Just delicious. 100/10

I had some good shawarma but this is the best schwarma in LA hands down! They are located in a little strip mall area in studio city. I hope they open up one close to the long beach area soon. I parked on the streets as the parking is tight here. I walked inside and was greeted which was nice. They showed me what was popular and i already knew what i wanted which is the wagyu shawarma sandwich with tahini sauce. The sauces were very good and tasty and man the shawarma (wagyu beef, tomato, onions, parsley and tahini and amba sauce) was fantastic. But the cashier also recommended the arayes which was just as good or you might like it better than the sandwich itself because they were that good! I heard the fries are good but didn't have room for that! They also have chicken shawarma and plates available. I also got the apple pear juice which was refreshing. A great overall meal! I was very happy. When in the area again yes i damn sure will be back here. Everybody should try their shawarma sandwich. They have free coffee also. Food rating Wagyu Shawarma 9.5\10 the best in town Arayes pita 9.3\10

Simply put , this is the best schwarma in LA! 5 stars! Couldn't be any better. Recently, Avi added a chicken Shawarma to his menu, which Is fire. Their traditional Wagyu Shawarma sandwich is as original in taste as it is perfectly prepared.

Came here for lunch with my mom and even though it was a 40 minute drive around playa vista it was worth it. Loved the Arayes. In fact I have been staring at their Arayes for years since this was just a pop up. Hummus was delicious as well. The wagyu shawarma was a very generous amount as well. Service was at the counter and they bring out the food to you. Casual ambience but what fantastic food! Definitely will make the trek again.

Needed a quick lunch and ordered delivery which arrived promptly. I went with... Arayes ($10)- ground wagyu beef, lamb, fried onion, parsley, and a side of tahini on a toasted half pita Torshi ($3)- pickled cauliflower The meat was flavorful and juicy but the amount was quite small. The size of this item is small in general, so if very hungry better off ordering the wagyu shawarma which is more filling. The tahini was a great addition and along side the pickled veggies everything balanced out. The food was good, it was gone in a flash!

So so good! We got the 2 sandwich wagyu shawarma for $27 which comes with beef wagyu, lamb, tomato, onion, parsley, tahini and amba stuffed in a warm pita. It was so flavorful and all the sauces gave each bite a little kick. We also got the green hot sauce for $1 more, highly recommend. Beef tallow fries on the side were $5, also delicious. The beet ketchup was...beety. They have free water and coffee inside, the coffee is so good and sweet. The staff is super friendly too. Located in the plaza next to Kazu Nori so parking is busy. The inside is nice and clean. We'd come back!
